Coronavirus

As we come through the Covid-19 pandemic, it has become time we can start to re-open our studios and photography businesses and start to work again.  With opening I am following the required guidelines set out by Alberta Health Services. I will forward our COVID-19 checklist to all clients before your session. Please note that if you are feeling unwell in any way we will reschedule your booked session.

If you are sick:

(fever, dry cough, difficulty breathing, shortness of breath, loss of taste or smell, headache, muscle aches, fatigue, vomiting or diarrhea for more than 24 hours), do not come to your session.

Small groups:

Client groups in studio should be as small as possible and at minimum, limited to 10 people or less including the photographer. For groups that live together (a family unit), no social distancing between them is required. If you do not live together, you must maintain a distance of at least 2 meters (6 feet) between the groups. The photographer will also keep two meters between clients. The same guidelines are recommended when doing a shoot “on location”

Physical distancing:

You must maintain a 2 meter (6 foot) distance between you and the photographer during your session. When posing directions will be verbal and/or example with “no touch” posing as much as possible.

Scheduling:

Sessions will always be scheduled in advance. I will ensure there is adequate time between scheduled sessions to allow enough time to clean/disinfect the studio prior to the next session commencing.

Cleaning between clients:

After clients leave, I use disinfectant wipes to wipe down all surfaces that may have been touched by clients – doorknob, railings, props, counter tops, washrooms.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):

I may choose to wear a “non-medical” mask during your session. Given adequate screening, you do not need an N95 mask or gloves.

I promise to do my best to keep the sessions as smooth and friendly as possible - this is such an uncertain time for everyone and even the slightest bit of normalcy is so important. If you are struggling with mental health, please let me know and I can help to provide the best resources.
