The FAQ

Do you Travel?

Yes, I will travel to any destination near and far. I do charge travel fees depending on the distance needed to travel.

What do I do with my hands?

Believe me, even I feel awkward in front of a camera sometimes! However, I will help guide you to some natural positions that will look great in your photos. I encourage you to interact with your partner or family members. I try to laugh as much as possible to capture your best and natural smile. I encourage movement, dancing, hugs, and twirling. My goal is for you to have fun, be interactive with your loved ones, and capture awesome photos.

How many photos do we get?

Each package includes 5 digital images, I offer additional purchase packages but always recommend to wait until your preview album to see how much you love them.

How do we get our photos?

I will send you an email with a private gallery link to download your chosen images.

Do you retouch photos?

All photos selected will be retouched, color corrected and of the highest quality.

Whats your turn around time?

Typically turnaround is 1-2 weeks for chosen albums.

How do we book you?

Simply send me an email with some preferred dates. Keep in mind that weekends book up fast, so if you’d like a weekend date, consider booking about 3-4 weeks in advance.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Payment is processed prior to the booking, and then again when you place your order. We accept Visa, Mastercard, bank transfer, and e-mail money transfer. Prices don’t include GST.

What should we wear?

The first consideration when choosing wardrobe for a portrait session should be comfort. Do you feel comfortable in your own skin and are you dressed for the weather are two questions you should be asking yourself before your shoot. The second consideration is more of a generalization, which is that earth tones always photograph the best (grey, beige, green, brown, etc). The third consideration is what the background is going to be. You want to stand out against the background. This means, if you’re being photographed in a park with lots of trees, you want to wear lighter clothes. The final consideration is that solid colors are always preferable to busy patterns and clothing with logos.

Who owns the right to the images?

The images I take while I’m commissioned by you are shared between us. I encourage you to share the images, as long as you don’t enter any of my photographs in contests or claim that you took them yourself. When you receive your screen-resolution images, feel free to share them all over social media – and please tag us in them (we’re a small business, we love that!). I retain the right to use the images for my website and self-promotion, but I’ll be sure not to share it if you ask me not to.
